Princess Shayla is a mentor and the guardian of the Animarium. She is a princess who anyone would serve. She is always positive and kind. She used to have a relationship with Merrick, but 3000 years ago when the Orgs attacked and were winning, Merrick sent her sleeping on a bed in the Temple Ruins up in the sky along with the Animarium until the day the Orgs escaped and she was needed. That day came, and she recruited five rangers. She is very knowledgable about the Animarium, and about the Wild Zords as well. She also has a beautiful voice the Deer Wild Zord adores when she sings "Ode to Nature" along with Merrick playing his flute. The Princess has gone through many experiences in the year 2002, including being kidnapped twice by Toxica and being held in the Nexus for several episodes as well as Zen-aku, getting a fit over her song being ruined, and nearly witnessing Master Org taking over the world. After Master Org was defeated for the last time, Princess Shayla took the Growl Phones from the Rangers and took off with the Animarium into the sky, with the Wild Zords, until she and the Wild Zords were needed again when Turtle Cove would be in danger. |
