Miratrix's origins are mysterious but what isn't is she is another party wanting to get the Corona Aurora's jewels. A skilled warrior, she yields two swords she goes to battle with. Miratrix first appeared as an innocent person named Mira who was being attacked by the monster Ultreg, in-order to draw Dax to her. Her ultimate plan was to get the three scrolls that made up the Neptune Sword. She almost succeeded but Dax had caught onto her plan before she could get the third scroll. Shortly after that sequence she followed the Rangers to St. Lucia in the Carribean to retrieve the Eye of the Sea but failed to come up with the first crystal of the Corona Aurora.
In her quest for the second crystal she was able to get to Turkey and acquire the Houou Bird that would bring the scroll to her before the Rangers did, but not before the Rangers were able to find out that she had it. Will was able to trick Miratrix into thinking he had been fired from Operation Overdrive. It wasn't all bad for her though because Will stole a device to prove his alliegance to her that was able to free Kamdor from a crystal she had been wearing. It was learned during Will's temporary alliance that Miratrix had gotten into trouble on a distant planet two years ago and Kamdor was captured trying to save her, which resulted him being imprisioned in the crystal.
By having one of the scrolls, the Rangers were not the only ones trying to get her scroll. Moltor brought his army out to fight with Miratrix, but the scroll ultimately ended up with the Rangers.
