If there was ever a "lone Ranger" on the Operation Overdrive team, look no further than Will. Before being employed by Andrew Hortford, Will was a covert spy who often worked alone in breaking into top secret buildings without being caught. He was recruited by Andrew after successfuly breaking into his top secret bank. When he joined the team he still preferred to work alone but on the team's first mission, Will learned first hand the value of teamwork. Will nearly fell into the lava pit when part of the platform he was running on broke off while running to retrieve a scroll in the ruins of Atlantis. He nearly fell again when he decided to try and break a stone with a scroll in it alone, and would have fell to his doom had Mack not been there.
There was a time however Will needed to work alone in-order to get closer to finding a scroll. When the team traveled to Turkey to find the Hou-ou Bird, the location the statue was located in had already been visited and the bird gone. Will secretly met with Andrew about having him join forces with Miratrix to get her to lead them to one of the other scrolls. Andrew and him decided that they would tell the other Rangers that he was fired from the team but still had his tracker. To prove himself to Miratrix, he stole a device that freed Kamdor from a crystal he had been imprisioned in for two years, and actually fought his fellow Rangers. To prove himself to the recently freed Kamdor, he was told to destroy the Rangers. In his next battle with the Rangers, he supposedly "blew" them up with his Overdrive Tracker, but it was simply Andrew modifying his tracker that teleported them back to the mansion base to trick Miratrix and Kamdor into thinking he destroyed the Rangers. Will was able to keep his story long enough for Miratrix to recieve the scroll. They didn't get it at that time but the Rangers retrieved it in the next episode.
Will's DNA was modified with the power to see things at a distance. His skills at breaking into top security buildings has helped the Ranger team several times, such as breaking into Andrew Hortford's safe to retrieve the Red Overdrive Tracker so the team could be at full strength to rescue Andrew. He also broke into Lady Penelope's mansion to retrieve two scrolls that had been stolen two years prior. Outside of being a Ranger, he is as calm as he is when breaking into a top secret building.
