We then see a nifty golf cart on Terra Venture on a smooth road with Leo driving and Maya in the passenger seat, driving by some trees as the nifty golf cart is being run by electric. Maya then claims that the mountain dome reminds her of Mirinoi (Mirinoi was a jungle though) and claims she's so glad they went. Leo says that she's been swinging on vines since she was a kid was easy (???) as they head into a nifty tunnel. Leo then tells one of his boring stories that one time, he was climbing this huge tree (he lived in a city, they cut down trees their) and must have been some height and when he was about to get to the top, the branch broke (Leo was fat back then?) or snapped. Leo then asks Maya if she's listening to him. Maya says no and tells Leo to stop for a sec (unfortunetely, it would be more). Maya unbuckles her seat belt as Leo says if he's that boring (that and something else). Leo does the same too and gets up. Leo asks what is it as Maya's eyes are wide open like someone who says "We had homework?". Leo then hears some engine that's about to explode (or going real fast) as we see it's just a small Scorpion (or the Scorpius Stinger). They see the Scorpius Stinger trying to make a shadow as Leo says to Maya to run (obviously) as Maya still looks at the Scorpius Stinger. Then, the Scorpius Stinger fires its somewhat looking laser at the bridge (or tunnel I called it).

We finally see the laser hit the bridge on Terra Venture as it blows up the bridge in a string like effect (guess evil these days don't have the right technnology). We see Maya and Leo run as fast as Bulk as the explosion is right behind them. We then hear a D.E.C.A. in training say "Danger, we are under attack" in front of a screen saying "EMERGENCY". We see Kendrix with a clipboard, then Kai somewhere else saying Terra Venture's losing atmosphere in the Mountain Dome (obviously)

We see Commander Stanton saying to close the air locks rather softly

We see the air lock closing on a screen, then live once again with Leo and Maya running

Leo and Maya are shown close up again as the fire catches up

Then, the Scorpius Stinger try to fire at the bridge but the control tower gets shaken (who built the laser on the tail?) as everyone gets thrown around like in the Astro Megaship so many times. Now, we see Leo and Maya fly in the air like they want to be Superman but unfortunetely, gravity pulls them down on the hard road. The fire gets closer as Leo and Maya dive for the closing air lock like Cassie in the "Rangers Mega Voyage" (but Cassie did it with more style). Then, the air lock closes as we see the Scorpius Stinger flying away from the damaged road in space. We're back in the command tower as Kai claims they've broken off the attack as he helps Commander Stanton up. No Kai, their just starting as the Scorpius Stinger heads for the mountain dome. We're on the Scorpius Stinger now with Scorpius saying that it's excellent that the mountain dome is isolated (how does he know what it's called, he has spies!). Trakeena then says that next, is the energy drain (obviously). We know see the poorly made Scorpius Stinger fire a beam under the dome (their not even smart). Then, the D.E.C.A. in training says "WARNING! WARNING! Detecting energy loss, origin, mountain dome" as we see Kendrix looking worried. Then, on some screen, we see a bird's eye view of Terra Venture pointing to the mountain dome. Commander Stanton talks to himself that these animals have tapped into the ships's power system. Commander Stanton then says to secure the exterior portals, and then yells "NOW!". We then see Kai getting Kendrix as they run out of Control Tower as the other people have on clue what's going to happen. Then, Leo and Maya and Damon run to catch up with the GSA people (not to mention, Damon is also in GSA). Kendrix and Kai turn around as the others reach up to them. Maya announces to the mob that Scorpius blew up the road to the mountain dome (can't they use the prized Astro Megaship?). Leo then asks how long until Terra Venture is dead

Damon then says 2-3 hours (that's what they said on Titanic). Kai repeats 2-3 as Damon has to say yeah. Leo then says that "Not if we can help it". Then, after they run, Magna Defender pops his head out, then his body as he claims that Scoprius is within his reach and he'll crush him once and for all, then shakes his head.

We see Terra Venture again with the mountain dome losing energy to the energy drain of the Scorpius Stinger. In the mountain dome, Magna Defender is in a Gingaman setting claiming that today is the day to avenge his son. When he destroys the dome, Scorpius will go down too as well as Terra Venture (unmentioned), saying it to his Torozord. Magna Defender then changes into a more convienent size to destroy the dome and becomes the Defender Torozord. We see the Defender Torozord in front of a volcano, with his two swords, energized, touching the lava (doesn't he know even metal burns?). Fortunetely, he's smarter than that as he fires energy at the lava as it shakes. We then see the tunnel leading into the Astro Megaship with the rangers running slowly with Leo leading. Their then greeted by Alpha 6 as he says that the Magna Defender is trying to blow up the mountain dome. Kai doesn't understand (English possibly) and asks what is he talking about. Alpha then says that he's using energy to create a meltdown, and if he succeeds, he'll destroy Scorpius (:]) and Terra Venture (:[). Leo then says that they have to stop him. As they run, Alpha is saying "Ay-yi-yi". Then, we see the Defender Torozord, and on the bottom, fire as he's speaking into a megaphone, saying "Goodbye Scorpius" as he holds up his two swords. We then see a fire and the dome shaking. Then, out of nowhere, the Galaxy Megazord appears with Leo without the Lights of Orion telling Magna Defender to stop. The Defender Torozord then holds up its two swords connected as Leo says he can't do this. The Defender Torozord just dos what it just did as the Galaxy Megazord holds the Torozord's right arm as he says he'll destroy the colony. Then, Magna Defender claims that he'll do whatever he needs to do to whatever it takes to have his revenge on Scorpius. As he pulls the Galaxy Megazord's arm off of his and whacks the megazord a good two times. We then see Scorpius saying the Magna Defender is trying to stop his plans and tells someone to send a monster down to stop him. Then, we hear some monster saying someone called and claims he lives for battle. The monster then says to tell him when and Trakeena answers right now Freaky-Tiki (hoped I spelled it right, Trakeena is not a he by the way) and to go and destroy Magna Defender. Freaky-Tiki says it's his pleasure and swings his mini-stick. Then, we see him running on a bridge as he says no one ruins Scorpius's plans to himself (he's talking about Magna Defender). He's not giant at the moment, he's going to fight him like that, evil past PRiS is really messed up. We then see the boring Defender Torozord with the two connected swords energized as Leo says they have to do something as he puts his hands over his Transdagger. The Galaxy Megazord now heads over to the Defender Torozord as it is about to shoot at the lava but stops (run out of gas?). Leo, with his hands still over the Transdagger, says "HuH?". We then see the Defender Torozord seperating but without Magna Defender becoming small as he hits the ground with the Torozord in natural form. We then see Magna Defender hurt with his crystal on the chest, poked on it. We then see the Torozord yelling at the Defender. The Magna Defender is asking the Torozord what he is doing. We then see the Gingamized Galaxy Rangers running to the spot of the seperation as Kai says that he can't believe it, his own zord threw him out (obviously). Everyone else is whispering something but Leo asks what's going on (obviously they don't Leo). We then see Magna Defender saying "Torozord" as it "runs" away. We then hear Magna Defender saying tratior, his own zord

Then, a light comes and hits Magna Defender. It's the Lights of Orion? No, it's just Freaky-Tiki sticking a sitck into the Defender and draining his power. Leo says he has to help him as he runs but Kai shouts "Leo" (like he always does). Freaky-Tiki fires some smoke as he misses by a few feet as Leo still runs. Leo then jumps and uses his Quasar Sabre and wacks the monster as he falls and drops his stick. The other rangers finally catch up and see Freaky Tiki get up and say "Power Rangers". The other rangers are creating a wall to protect Leo and the Defender as Damon tells Leo that he has to get Magna Defender out of here. Leo agrees and tells the Defender to come with him. The monster picks up his stick and fights the rangers. Then, we see Magna Defender being helped by Leo, running somewhere, now in a Saban set. We then see some Sting Wingers as Leo and Magna Defender do too as Leo just throws him to the ground or somewhere. Leo pulls his Quasar Sabre out as Leo slashes Sting Wingers with Magna Defender watching from the ground. Leo continues to do this as he sees a Sting Winger going for Magna Defender as he's about to hurt him as he stops the blade from touching the beat up Defender. Leo then gets kneed in the stomach and gets hit and is thrown as Magna Defender holds his hand out and shouts "red ranger!". Leo now is struggling as Leo gets a hit in as we see Sting Wingers parylyzed. Then, Magna Defender tells Leo that he's weak and that how could he defend him, after what he did to him, he fights for good and claims it's futual. Magna Defender then says that Leo's brother was the same. Leo then is shocked and asks if he knew his brother. Magna Defender says yes and says very well as he's leaning on a boulder. We then see the same flashback as Trecheron defeats Magna Defender and sends him into the crevice. He says that he laid their for 3000 years, thinking he would never get out with his Magna Blaster in front of him. Then, he says that the crevest opened again one day, and his brother fell in. He was about to fall in fire but Magna Defender gathered his strength and threw his Magna Blaster at Leo, not to kill him, but save him as it catches his clothing (it was a nice scene). Magna Defender then says that he needed his brother's spirit and stole it and changed life forces and made his escape. Then, we see Magna Defender proudly coming out of the crevest as we hear a little Mike in his voice. We're in the present now with Leo saying he doesn't understand. Magna Defender then says that he needed Mike's strength, saying he had to get out and destroy Scorpius. Leo talks to himself that his brother is still alive. Magna Defender overheard and says very alive, inside of himself, he weighs on him whenever he tries to get revenge on Scorpius, his goodness is trying to take over his heart (he's a human?) as we walks past Leo. Leo says Mike as Magna Defender says that his brother will be lost forever unless Leo destroys him. We then see Leo shocked as we see a close up of Leo's helmet.

Again, we see the poorly made Scorpius Stinger draining energy from the mountain dome. Now, we're in the Mountain Dome as we hear Magna Defender saying to go on to Leo. Magna Defender is saying to destroy him, it's the only way to destroy him. Leo repeats "Destroy you?" as he's holding his Quasar Sabre. Magna Defender then pulls his Magna Blaster out, saying he'll make it easier, saying it as self-defense. Magna Defender walks towards him as he tries to hit Leo but is too slow and hits grass. Leo says no, puts his Quasar Sabre back in his pocket, and says he can't do it. Magna Defender now is asking what is wrong with Leo, saying that doesn't he want to see his brother again? Leo says more than anything, but not in that way. When he became a ranger, he was suposed to fight evil. Leo says Magna Defender is not evil, he won't destroy him, neither will Mike. Then, Leo runs away as Magna Defender falls to the ground as he says he used to have honor like Leo. We then see Zika in a flashvack saying father in front of some strange planets. Magna Defender then is giving some arrows to Zika and Zika responds to that when he grows up, he'll fight evil just like him (obviously). Magna Defender then gives him a little pat on the shoulder with two hands and says that's his little warrior. Then, we see Zika trying to save his father as he's shot by Scorpius when his planet was attacked. After that, Magna Defender stops thinking about it, and whispers "My son". Then, we see Freaky Tiki giving each ranger a whack with his stick as Damon gets several. Then, Damon tries to use his agility but just gets whacked. Then, out of nowhere, Leo runs and whacks Freaky Tiki three times. Then, the rangers call the Lights of Orion as Leo calls power up mode and hit Freaky Tiki hard as sparks fly. We see Freaky Tiki getting up and him growing. Then, Leo gets in his zord rather fast and the transformation of the Galaxy Megazord is fast too. Then, Leo calls power up mode to make the Galaxy Megazord look prettier and shiny. A battle ensues as Freaky Tiki tries to bite the Wild Cat zord on the meagzord but just gets thrown somewhere else. Now, we're in front of that volcano from earlier as the Galaxy Megazord uses the finishing move to destroy Freaky Tiki. It's sucessful as his stick flies into the volcano. Then, the ground shakes as we see Damon in his zord saying it's time to take care of Scorpius. Now we're on the Scorpius Stinger with Trakeena above an electrical problem as Scorpius says to disconnect. The Scorpius Stinger then leaves at the speed of Bulk running. We see the rangers jumping as they are met with a beam of energy which hits them rather hard. We then hear and see Alpha saying that the pit (it's a pit?) is reaching critical temperatures and to get out before it explodes. Leo and Damon both agree that they can't on their communicators in a Gingaman set (the Gingaman had communicators of some sort?). Then, the rangers sprint for the top but then are met by fire and get hit hard. Maya says they can't get near it and Kai claims that the blaze is too intense. Leo gets up and says he can't give up. He also says they have to reach the core. We see Magna Defender now coming out of a boulder, talking to himself that the rangers are willing to sacrafice themselves for others. Magna Defender is now weakned and falls on the dirt and tells himself their was a time when he was like that. The rangers are then greeted by another burst of fire and the rangers hit the ground, demorphed, like in CtD, burns on their skin. Magna Defender (Saban footage) claims it was a long time ago, (now Gingaman) before he became obsessed with getting revenge. We see another flashback of Zika being held by Fish Guy. Magna Defender is saying sorry to his long gone son, breathing hard, saying that he failed him. Then, he hears Zika (hallucination) saying "father" and bringing some flowers. Zika, grown up, walks to Magna Defender as he gets up slowly, saying "is that really you?". Zika then says that he has to stop the evil forces from destroying the colony (evil is not in this one pal). Magna Defender then says how could be save the colony when he couldn't even save his own son. Magna Defender then tells Zika he was not the warrior he once was. He says that man was destoryed long ago and falls down. Zika says it's not too late. Zika goes to his fallen daddy and says that warrior is still in his heart (Mike is in his heart), he knows it is, and saying that if he fights for what's right, they'll always be together. Magna Defender gets the flowers from Zika and sees him walking away and saying that he still belives in him and walks away. Magna Defender gets up and looks at the flowers right in front of the fire and gets up, walking somewhere, with the help of some boulders, and says to himself that he knows what he must do as his helmet cracks a little. Leo is yelling "COME ON" to his fellow rangers they slowly get up. Leo is saying they can't give up but are greeted by fire and smoke. They try to get up, but can't due to fire. Leo then says they have to stop it (he got up pretty quick this time). But before he does anyting, Magna Defender puts his hand on Leo's shoulder and says only he can do it. Leo is surprised it's the Magna Defender as the other rangers crowd him. Magna Defender says to Leo that he must render his energy and his hatred for Scorpius created this mud and walks towards the pit. Leo yells "NO!" but Magna Defender throws his Magna Blaster near the rangers which create a force field as Leo tries to get out. Leo then says says the Defender's name but the Defender says that Leo shouldn't worry about his brother as he continues to walk up. We then see Kendrix and Kai looking at each other as Leo is still trying to convince the Defender by shouting "wait!" (why doesn't he just morph and get out the old fashioned way?). Kendrix then shouts "don't do it" as Magna Defender slowly, struggling, inches up the hill. We then hear the Torozord as it walks. Magna Defender then tells the Torozord to stop and tells him that "this is where we part, old friend, I must do this mission, alone" as the Torozord gives a roar. Magna Defender also is still holding the flowers Zika gace to him. Magna Defender continues to walk up with Leo looking like he's going to cry. The waves hit the Defender as he gets hit hard and falls with Maya yelling "NO!". But, gets back up looking at the flowers, then, out of nowhere, Zika shows up!. He is along side the Defender as they walk up with no problem. The Defender tells Zika that he was right, goodness it still in his heart. Zika says he's proud of his father, but the Defender says he's proud of him, and thanks him as they hold hands. They continue walking, now, Magna Defender walks alone (he was hallucinating again) as he is getting burned as he tries to make it to the top. He struggles, who looks like he lost an arm, finally makes it to the top, with Leo's eyes wide open. He makes it, smoke coming out of his body, helmet cracked, jewel burned and crack, says "This is for you Zika", and then bursts into a ball of light (not Lights of Orion) and goes in the firem creating an explosion which hits the shield but doesn't go through as the fire stops.

The field is now gone, and gold snow falls over the mountain dome of Terra Venture. Kendrix asks if he's really gone, as Leo picks up the Defender's sword. Leo picks it up and says "no", then, the jewel on the sword says "Magna Defender will live forever" in Mike's voice. We see Kendrix, then the Torozord gives a yell as we look up and see the gold snow. Then, we hear a beep as Alpha says that they did it, and the temperature is stablized. Kendrix says that they didn't do it, he did (whose he? he has a name). We see again Leo looking at the sword of Magna Defender as someone is walking (you can barely hear it). Leo hears some footsteps on the dirt, who has boots on. Leo turns his head, then Maya and Damon, then Kai and Kendrix. The mystery man stops walking, then, the camera looks up, and, it's, Mike, who gives a smile. Kai is the first to say, "Mike?". Mike whispers "yeah" as Leo is looking at him. Kendrix and the others run towards him except Leo who just sits their and looks at his new sword. Kai says he can't believe it, and Kendrix finishes the sentence with he's back. Damon says it's amazing as Mike is looking in the direction of Leo. Leo looks at him rather hard (another fake Mike?) as Mike comes towards him. Mike says Leo's name, then, Leo gives a smile, and walks towards him, with the other rangers watching, give a big hard hug to each other with Leo the one to run. Leo says he missed Mike and Mike says the same

Mike says that there's so much he wants to tell him. Leo says that somehow, someway, he would come back. They stop hugging, and Mike claims that he'll never leave him again, and hug again, with Leo still holding the sword of Magna Defender.

Wow, what an episode, this was as good as Countdown to Destruction, it wasn't better, but a guy who was about to shoot a little girl in the hand of the monster who took his son just to get revenge for his son, who would think he would save a whole colony? This get's 6/9/5, goes almost as far as Countdown to Destruction Part 2.

Notes:

At the near end, Magna Defender threw his sword or Magna Blaster to protect the rangers, but when he was walking up the hill, he had it at his waist
It looked like before he fell in the pit, he lost his left arm
Is Zika still alive?
Did the Scorpius Stinger recieve too much energy?
How did the rangers reach the mountain dome without the road?
Leo wasn't appearently happy for the moment when he saw Mike
When Mike fell, he didn't have a helmet but when he came back, he did

The Scorpius Stinger may have been damaged during the energy process
Leo now has the Magna Blaster, what will he do with it?
Will Mike really be the Magna Defender?
Is Scorpius still after the Quasar Sabres, or Lights of Orion?
Is Trakeena going to be the warrior she would claim to be?
