Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue is the 8th season of the Power Ranger series. Two wandering travelers release Demons inside a tomb in 2000. A city called Mariner Bay, once the home for the demons, is now in danger by the Demons who want to reclaim their homeland. A government organization called Lightspeed headed by Captain Bill Mitchell recruits five Power Rangers who have unique skillsets to protect Mariner Bay and to seal away the Demons once again.
