Andros is the first ranger from outer space to be one of the 5 original Rangers on a Ranger team. He is the leader of the rangers, and one of the most determined. He first appeared as a loner, trying to rescue Zordon with his without any assistance, going through the universe with his Astro Megaship. He invaded the Sumerian Planet and discovered Dark Spector's plans. He came back to his ship to discover the remaining 4 Turbo Rangers. TJ, Cassie, Ashley, and Carlos all wanted to help Andros in his quest, and even helped Andros fight off Quantrons without any powers. He had convincing from Alpha 6 to join up with the rangers. Later, we found out he had a lost sister named Karone. She was stolen while they were playing outside on KO-35 by Darkonda. He had then discovered who she was, Astronoma. But once again lost thanks to Darkonda. Andros had a recent run vs. the Psycho Rangers and destroyed Psycho Red until the Psycho's were destroyed. When Dark Spector's forces invaded Earth, Andros decided to board the Dark Fortress and put an end to all the destruction. He ran into his sister, Astronoma, and hurt his own sister in the line of defense. He then discovered Zordon, who told him that Andros should destroy him so Zordon's energy waves can rid all of evil. He cried and his sister magically woke up. He was going to stay on KO-35 until he changed his mind and came back with Karone and Zhane to live on Earth with the rangers.

Andros was seen again in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, when Trakeena found the missing Psycho Rangers Keycards. He helped Leo, who was in danger of becoming captured by Psycho Red.

He was seen yet again in "Forever Red", as he was one of the organizers of the all-Red Ranger mission of destroying the remnants of the Machine Empire.

Although Andros appears to be quiet, he is not selfish and will do anything to help his partners out. At times though, he can be stubborn when things happen, often putting all the blame himself, but he has the ability to make a wrong a right.
