We go to the Mercer residence, which is alongside a lake. We see a duck in the pond. Trent tells himself inside his dad's office, "I know I'm not losing my mind. It was right around here." Trent closes his eyes and thinks back to when he touched the invisiportal and was transported to Hayley's Cyberspace and saw his dad walking out. Trent opens his eyes and sees his father. Dr. Mercer asks his son if he can help him with something. Trent shakes his head and tells him that there's some weird stuff going on. Trent "swears" he went through some sort of inter-dimensional doorway. Dr. Mercer takes that into account and tells his son he's worried about him. He says he's working through all hours at the "coffee house" and obviously, he's not thinking straight. Dr. Mercer goes to his desk and says he has to make an appointment with his doctor. Trent says he doesn't need a doctor, he needs an explanation (yeah, so do we). Trent tells his father he thinks he owes it to him. Dr. Mercer stops searching his desk and asks, "Perhaps you can explain something to me. When did it become acceptable to speak that way to your father?" Trent says how all these projects he's involved in and says there's weird stuff going on. Dr. Mercer says whatever goes on around his house he can assure him it's for the betterment of mankind and promises he will feel the same way. Trent closes his eyes for a second. Dr. Mercer says, "In time." Trent turns around and asks, "In time? When?" Dr. Mercer says when he's ready. Trent shakes his head. Dr. Mercer says someday, all he has will belong to him and tells him it's a great responsibility, while walking towards his son. Trent closes his eyes and shakes his head. Dr. Mercer says they must prepare him that will being soon. Dr. Mercer slaps a hand on his son's shoulder and tells him to go for a swim. He claims he has the nicest pool in town and says he never uses it. Trent still looks tense about the situation.

We're at Mesogog's castle. Zeltrax walks up to Elsa at the Geno Randomizer and tells her he has an idea for a hall-warming creature. He claims Lord Mesgog will be pleased. Elsa replies, "Typical, send a mutation down and do a you-can't." Zeltrax says he can do it but the creature... Elsa interrupts and says his creatures are as pathetic as he is. Zeltrax says at least he has a plan and asks if she does. Elsa confidently replies back, "Of course I do!" Zeltrax is surprised at the response. Elsa claims her's is much more suttle. Elsa has what looks like a Dino egg and adds, "Much more dangerous." Her eyes become wide open.

We're finally back at Reefside High School. The bell rings which means it's a tardy bell or the bell to get out of school. Dr. Oliver is finally back in his classroom and students are getting up. Dr. Oliver looks like a teacher again with his glasses and outfit. Dr. Oliver says to his students, "All right there's only so much you can learn in a classroom whose ready for some field work?" Everyone proceeds to exit except Cassidy Cornell. Cassidy goes up to Dr. Oliver and asks, "Dr. Oliver, may we have permission to film today's dig for journalism class? It's just that I think it will be good for my career if I start focusing on more exciting things like nature and science." Dr. Oliver is putting something in his front pocket. Devin comes up behind Cassidy and tells her that he thought she told him "that stuff" was as dull as dirt. Cassidy holds a hand up and says she thought she was talking about their last conversation. Dr. Oliver tells her to relax and says she can film the dig (well Devin would probably do it, but he hasn't filmed anything since he filmed the blank sky in episode 2!). Cassidy is delighted and leaves. Dr. Oliver picks up his suitcase and notices someone in a suit with a real Palentologist hat. The lady says, "Dr. Oliver." Dr. Oliver asks, "Principal Randall? Are you in a play?" Principal Randall comes in. She says she isn't, she says she's here to join him on his field trip (she says it in a slick tone). Dr. Oliver says he didn't know she was interested in dinosaur bones. Principal Randall tells Dr. Oliver he would be surprised what interests her (she's totally changed from the first episode). Dr. Oliver says he probably would. Principal Randall asks, "Shall we?" Dr. Oliver says, "Yeah, bus is right outside." Principal Randall tells him he can dazzle her with his fascinating fossil facts on the way. Principal Randall leaves. Dr. Oliver looks confused (that is what happens when you're absence from school for awhile, especially high school, where things can change in an instant).

We're already at the site, as we don't get to see Dr. Oliver tell Principal Randall fascinating fossil facts. We're at a beach I presume and we see the top of the school bus and a guy pushing a wheel-barrow. Principal Randall walks through, surveying the area (she's probably trying to get someone into detention). Dr. Oliver says, "Look what I found." Principal Randall looks interested. Dr. Oliver has an artifact in his hand and brushes it with a toothbrush. Dr. Oliver tells Principal Randall, "This is a Trilobyte. It's from the Paleozoic Era which makes it about 300 million years old." Dr. Oliver has a smile on his face. He hands it to Principal Randall, who appears to look at it with interest. She says, "Amazing, well it doesn't look a day over 200 million." Dr. Oliver rubs his hands of any dirt and laughs. She offers a hand to Dr. Oliver to get him out of the dig. Just as Dr. Oliver gets up, we see Cassidy Cornell, who appears to have gotten that all on tape. She's kneeling down, with the camera tripod right next to her. Dr. Oliver thanks the Principal and she gives a "my pleasure" back. Cassidy stands up with some suspicion as Devin is lying on his stomach, staring at a plant in the ground. Devin is telling it, "Come on little flower open up open up!" Cassidy asks Devin, "Did you just see that? Uh, Prinicpal Randall is totally into Dr. Oliver." Devin replies, "What?" Cassidy points to the direction. Devin looks. Principal Randall is trying to clean Dr. Oliver of any dirt on his clothing, with Dr. Oliver refusing the service. Devin says, "No way, Randall?" Cassidy tells Devin love is right in-front of his eyes and he doesn't even see it. Devin replies, "Look to be honest Cass, I don't even think that Randall is capable of that emotion." Cassidy says that makes it an even better story and says it's going to be great for the gossip report. Devin says, "Yeah, but what about my time-lapse flower shot?" Cassidy kneels down and grabs the "flower" from the ground. Devin just lies there, still staring at where it once was and says, "Hey!" Cassidy grabs its leaves and rips them apart. Cassidy says it's now lapsed for sure. Devin says, "My flower..." Cassidy drops the pieces and Devin has a sad look on his face. Cassidy tells Devin to think of the headline, "The Randall Scandal, woah, that's brilliant!" We hear Ethan, who says, "Hey guys, over here!" Ethan appears to have found something, as he is digging with his hands. Ethan tells someone he thinks he has found something. Conner and Kira come over to check it out. Principal Randall has a napkin and is holding it to Dr. Oliver's face. Dr. Oliver tells the Principal that it is ok. He takes the napkin from her and wipes it on his face just to get her to back off. Kira comes running and tells Dr. Oliver they need help in identifiying something. Kira tells him they think it might be a "Morphosaurus". Dr. Oliver seems to know what she's trying to say and excuses himself from Principal Randall (good riddance). Principal Randall has a mysterious look as she watches them head off. Dr. Oliver asks Kira, "What have you got?" Ethan picks up the object and says it might be a Dino Zord egg. Ethan turns it a bit and gives it to Dr. Oliver. Dr. Oliver says, "Careful!" Principal Randall walks along and tries to make a ghoul's "ooooh" sound. The four see her arrival as unexpected and immediately look at her. Principal Randall says, "A discovery. How exciting." Dr. Oliver says, "Oh no, uh, we're not sure what it is." Principal Randall points out, "It looks like a pre-historic egg. She holds her hand out and asks, "May I?" Dr. Oliver is not too sure as the Rangers just look at him. Principal Randall tells Dr. Oliver not to worry and claims she won't drop it. Dr. Oliver gives it up and Principal Randall just holds it with one hand. She takes her glasses off when Dr. Oliver demands, "I should really take that back to the school lab and examine it." Principal Randall hands it back and says, "Of course, here." She is about to give it back when Tyrannodrones run to the scene. Principal Randall is still holding it when everyone notices. Students are running as the Tyrannodrones don't look like they know where they're running to. Dr. Oliver and Conner look at each other and nodd. They split up and Principal Randall runs for cover (she still has the egg). Dr. Oliver kicks one Tyrannodrone and punches another away (while wearing khaki pants). He kicks another Tyrannodrones who spins to the ground. Dr. Oliver grabs Principal Randall's hand and drgas her along. In her other hand is the Dino Egg, which his being held by its bottom. Devin says, "I am so outta here." Devin folds up the tripod when Cassidy grabs the tripod. This causes Devin to nearly fall. Cassidy asks where does he think he's going and tells him they have an exclusive here. Devin realizes it and says, "Oh, right!" Devin sets up the camera to shoot. Conner walks the plank over a small ditch. He ducks under one attack and barely hits a Tyrannodrone to send him the few feet below. Conner back flips off of the plank and kicks a Tyrannodrone's feet above the small cliff to send him below. Dr. Oliver kicks a Tyrannodrone away as he's still holding onto Principal Randall. He ducks under another attack and kicks a Tyrannodrone's feet to send him to the ground. Kira cartwheels and elbows a Tyrannodrone. She blocks another attack and punches the Tyrannodrone. The Tyrannodrone's bottom ends up in the wheelbarrow. Ethan ducks under an attack and blocks another. He blocks yet another, and misses with the arm swing. He kicks a Tyrannodrone away, and pauses. He then runs as he realizes three Tyrannodrones are coming in on him with attacks. Ethan runs and does a tornado spin down below. He tosses an incoming Tyrannodrone over him. Conner punches a Tyrannodrone away and uses the top of a cliff to push off and get back up. Conner kicks and punches two Tyrannodrones. Conner lands a kick on a Tyrannodrone who rolls back two times. The first roll was on even ground, the second time, caused his momentum to fall to another elevation. He also kicks up some dirt on the way. Ethan blocks a kick and lands several punches. Ethan nearly gets speared but moves around it and somehow ends up making the Tyrannodrone fall. A Tyrannodrone's feet are seen on the wooden plank, and Ethan goves over and clotheslines the feet. Dr. Oliver kicks a Tyrannodrone away. He has also relinquished his grip of Principal Randall. A Tyarnnodrone has her. He grabs her hand and Principal Randall's momentum is going to make her fall. Dr. Oliver grabs her hand again and picks her up. He twirls her around and does some nifty spinning. He tosses her into the air and Dr. Oliver fights the Tyrannodrones around him. Dr. Oliver looks up and catches his boss. He then turns and lands a kick. Kira kicks a Tyrannodrone away, ducks, blocks an attack, and counters with a backhand which sends the Tyrannodrone rolling back. Kira deals a few blows and blocks a few punches, and ends up spinning a Tyrannodrone. His back hits the wooden plank and falls down. Devin seems not sure where to film as Cassidy points, "Over there!" A Tyrannodrone comes from behind Ethan and grabs him. He releases the hold and pushes him back. Principal Randall is holding the dino egg in her hand. Two Tyrannodrones push her elbows up, causing her to release the Dino Egg into the air. She makes a funny, old lady scream. Dr. Oliver looks on and sees the egg in the air and Principal Randall about to fall. Dr. Oliver yells out, "The egg!" Dr. Oliver runs to get it. Principal Randall for some reason is taking steps back but looks like she's about fall. Dr. Oliver dives and Principal Randall just lunges back. We see alternating shots of the two of their positions. We see a matrix-style event, where it looks like the two are trying to "save" each other. Dr. Oliver ends up grabbing Principal Randall and she is on "top" of him. Dr. Oliver looks like he has just seen a ghost. Principal Randall just looks. She then looks up and says, "The egg!" She says she will get it. Dr. Oliver tries to follow but a Tyrannodrone grabs his shirt. Dr. Oliver fights them off as Principal Randall searches for the egg. She's running pretty fast for a school principal. She passes by a Tyrannodrone who is in hot pursuit. She grabs the egg, and somehow, the Tyrannodrone flipped and fell when the Principal went into the little hole. The Principal looks at the fallen Tyrannodrone and yells out Dr. Oliver's name. Dr. Oliver finishes his business wtih the Tyrannodrone and looks behind to see. Principal Randall tells him to catch. She tosses the egg. Dr. Oliver catches it with two hands. He blows the egg to make sure it's not dirty. Principal Randall goes up to him and tells her, "Good throw. You ok?" Principal Randall touches her hat and says she thinks so. Dr. Oliver says they better get back to school. Ethan, Kira, and Conner go up to Dr. Oliver. Principal Randall stops them and asks sternly, "Would you mind explaining to me where you learned to fight like that?" Conner says, "Karate club." Kira and Ethan agree and they walk off. Principal Randall grabs Dr. Oliver's arm and asks if they have one of those. Dr. Oliver says he doesn't know and claims he's still new around here. Principal Randall looks on with suspicion, and walks off with them.

We're at Dr. Oliver's house. Conner asks, "So what's up?" We see a monitor with a diagram of the Dino egg. Kira asks, "You got anything?" Someone is scanning the dino egg with a library scanner. Ethan says, "Something's not right. I can't detect any signs of life!" Hayley is with the group. Dr. Oliver says that's weird and says he's sure it's a Dimetro Zord Egg. Conner asks, "Dimetro Zord?" Dr. Oliver says it's developed from a Dimterodon, truly amazing. Kira says, "That explains why the Tyrannodrones want it." Dr. Oilver agrees with her statement.

We're back at the dig site. We hear "Elsa's" voice. She says, "The things I do, now where's that egg? Ahh hah! There you are my precious. She picks it up." We see "Elsa"; it's her voice, but that's not what she looked like back at Mesogog's lab! She looks like, Principal Randall! She still has her glasses on and doesn't have that goa-tee on her chin. She laughs, and turns into Elsa! (well, now she has the goa-tee and awful looking hair) The sky also turns darker for some reason.

Elsa has her Dino Egg at her feet. She tells herself, "Oh, what a prize my very own Dino Zord." She holds her hand out and looks to be measuring the egg. She fires a beam from her hand that causes the egg to heat and smoke. She tells it firmly to "rise up". Elsa says, "Rise up my beauty and take form." The egg appears to be doing nothing, then all of a sudden, it splits into two. We see a huge dinosaur that is shielded by all the dust and debris. The wind causes Elsa to fall back and fall. Elsa gets serious and yells, "Now go, and destoy!" We see this Dino Zord. It's a four-legged creature with a wheel on its back.

Dr. Oliver has his jeep deployed. He turns into a side road. The road looks bumpy because we get an in-car camera view, and Dr. Oliver's car is rocking to the left (good thing he has four-wheel drive). Dr. Oliver comes to a stop on a grassy terrain. Dr. Oliver gets out and checks out the area. Just then, an invisiportal appears and Zeltrax comes out of it. Dr. Oliver says Zeltrax's name and tells him he thought he smelled something. Zeltrax and Dr. Oliver are face-to-face. Zeltrax says he believes that would be his demise. He crunches his hands together. Dr. Oliver says he doesn't have time to trade insults and tells him to get out of his way. Dr. Oliver tells him he has something important to do. Zeltrax looks around and asks, "That will have to wait, first we must attend to your destruction." He snaps his body in a position to face Dr. Oliver. Dr. Oliver says, "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you." Zeltrax gets his sword from his holster. Dr. Oliver gets his Brachio Morpher out and morphs into the Black Dino Morpher. Dr. Oliver misses a high kick and then grabs Zeltrax's sword. They move around and Dr. Oliver lands a kick on Zeltrax's chest. Dr. Oliver then ducks under Zeltrax's swing of his sword.

We're at Dr. Oliver's lab. The Rangers are looking at a screen of the Dino Egg they have. Ethan has the library scanner and tells his friends that he doesn't think there's a Dino Zord in there. They are silent, until a beeping sound occurs. They see the Dino Zord that Elsa hatched on the screen and Conner announces, "There's one." Kira looks and asks, "But how?" Conner asks shyly, "Can't we?" Ethan finishes with, "Open it?" Ethan removes the robotic arm that is getting the information from the egg, and half of the egg comes off. A glowing, golden light peeks through the crack. They look at it, and it's a hologram of Elsa. Elsa's hologram says, "Not what you expected Rangers! HAHAHA!" The hologram flies in the air and then vanishes. Kira tells the group, "Ok, can I just say I'm so over the evil laugh thing?" Ethan says that's messed up, and then asks, "How does she do that?" The beeping alert sound occurs again. We see the new Dino Zord use its wheel that is on its back to destroy what looks like a building with a Japanese style roof. Conner says, "It's attacking Little Tokyo." (finally a writer acknowledges that some Japan things DO exist in Power Rangers!). Conner tells the Rangers, "Come on!" They step back, get their Dino Morphers out, and morph. The morph is rather extended this time, instead of the split screen. The Rangers arrive in the forest, and Conner announces, "There it is!" We see the new Dino Zord, running through the same forest the Rangers are in. Then we see the Rangers' Dino Zords. The Tricera Zord and Dimetro Zord (the new Zord) go at it by ramming heads. They do this three times with no one getting the advantage. The Dimetro Zord begins to charge and uses the spinning wheel on its back to hit the Tricera Zord's head. The Rangers watching yell out, "No!" The Tyranno Zord tries to bite the Dimetro Zord. They ram heads with the Dimetro Zord getting the advantage. Ethan says, "Aww, brutal!"

Somewhere else in the forest Zeltrax gets a swipe hit on Dr. Oliver. He gets two more hits on Dr. Oliver's chest, does a sword trick, and nails Dr. Oliver's shoulder, sending him flying back. Zeltrax tells Dr. Oliver if he knows what's good for him, he will stay away from "her". Dr. Oliver asks, "Who?" Zeltrax gets his sword powered up with his finger and tells Dr. Oliver, "I've been dreaming of this." Zeltrax fires his sword, but Dr. Oliver moves out of the way. Dr. Oliver gets up, leaps into the air, and lands a missle toe drop kick on Zeltrax. Zeltrax gets up and fires a beam at Dr. Oliver. Dr. Oliver is nailed and falls back. Dr. Oliver raises his head to see Zeltrax charging at him. Dr. Oliver turns a knob on his Brachio Staff and yells out, "Wind Strike". A stiff wind nails Zeltrax and sends him flying back. An invisiportal teleports him away. Dr. Oliver powers down and asks himself, "What's his problem."

We're at Mesogog's lair. A green light is emitted in the room. Zeltrax falls from the invisportal back first in-front of Mesogog. Mesogog looks at Zeltrax. Zeltrax tells Mesogog he was moments away from destroying the Black Ranger for him. Mesogog is about to get out of his chair but tells Zeltrax, "It didn't look that way to me. It looked like he was getting the best of you." Zeltrax continues to lie there. Mesogog continues, "Next time you battle, I would suggest you leave your petty jealousy out of it." Zeltrax asks, "Jealousy? But I..." Mesogog says they'll discuss his punishment later. Mesogog says the new Dino Zord has the Rangers on the ropes. He proceeds to getting comfortable in his chair again. Mesogog tells Zeltrax to send one of their mutations down to finish the job. Zeltrax struggles to stand and says, "Right away." Zeltrax slowly walks out, showing signs of the results of his last fight.

The Dimetro Zord and Tyranno Zord continue to butt heads. The Rangers down below cheer on the Tyranno Zord. More head butting and the Dimetro Zord proceeds to attack with the wheel on its back. The Tyranno Zord uses its tail to try and stop the wheel. It doesn't work as the Dimetro Zord comes from the side and rams its head into the Tyranno's head. This sends the Tyranno Zord back onto its side. We see the Tyranno's tail just drop and de-energize. The Dimetro Zord roars in victory. It then digs itself into the ground. The Rangers are amazed at his ability. Conner notes the Zord is gone. Something big shakes the ground and causes the Rangers to temporarily lose their balance. We then see another monster, saying, "Target located." The Rangers take a step back to see this new creature. The new monster is named Scorpex. He has two blades for arms and has a head shaped in what looks like a house. Conner asks, "Now what do we do?"

We see another shot of Scorpex. Conner calls for the Dino Zords. We see the three Dino Zords (the Tyranno Zord seems to have recovered fast) running. Conner tells his fellow Rangers, "Let's go!" The others agree. They leap into the air and board their Zords. The Thundersaurus Megazord transformation begins. The two giants face off. Scorpex has a really long tail. Scorpex tries to scare the Megazord but doing a funny roar. Conner tells Kira, "Do it Kira!" Kira gets the Ptera Rang and fires it at Scorpex. Scorpex blocks the two Ptera Rang attacks with each hand (or blade in this case). Kira says in the cockpit, "Oh no." Ethan calls for the Tricera Fists. Scorpex just hits the Tricera Head on the hand and then turns around to hit the Megazord with its big tail. The Megazord takes a few steps back after getting hit. Scorpex then nails the Megazord with a slash from its blade. He does it again with the other hand and the Rangers inside the Thundersaurus Megazord cockpit feel the effects. Dr. Oliver is back at his lab, safe from harm. He's watching the battle on his screen. He tells the Rangers he doesn't think the Dino Zords are powerful enough. Dr. Oliver says they need something that can break through his armor. Conner asks, "Like what?" Dr. Oliver touches his glasses and says, "Like a blade or saw. Wait a minute, you got to use the Dimetro Zord." Conner asks, "What?" Dr. Oliver tells them, "The Dino Zord you were just fighting." Conner tells Dr. Oliver, "Dr. O, if you haven't noticed, he's not exactly playing well with others." Dr. Oliver tells them to see if he can do something about that. Dr. Oliver gets his Brachio Morpher out and says he has to concentrate. Elsa is somehow still in the forest and she fires a beam from her finger at the Thundersaurus Megazord. She says, "You are under my control." We see the Dimetro Zord leap into the air and nail the Thundersaurus Megazord with its deadly wheel saw several times. The cockpit sparks and the Thundersaurus Megazord falls to the ground. Elsa looks on and is supposively pleased but shows no signs of it. The Dimetro Zord roars and from far away, Elsa tells it, "Well done, now finish them!" Scorpex is apparently trying to do the finishing as it steps on the fallen Megazord. He laughs. Dr. Oliver watches the Rangers in the cockpit as he is apparently concentrating. He tells himself, "Come on." A Dino Brace appears on his morpher and he presses a button. The Dimetro Zord breaks a shell. Dr. Oliver tells himself, "Yes, got him!" The Dimetro Zord is apparently now is with the Rangers as the Dino Thunder background theme music plays. The Dimetro Zord does the same attack it just did to the Thundersaurus Megazord to Scorpex. Scorpex falls over and the Thundersaurus Megazord gets back on its feet. Conner says, "Way to go!" Dr. Oliver tells the Rangers it's all theres' and tells them to wait to see what he can do. The sky is black with clouds as the Dimetro Zord becomes an arm. The hand is the saw that was on its back. The Megazord shows off its new addition as the saw spins rapidly. The Thundersaurus Megazord goes at Scorpex. Scorpex tries to hit the Megazord but it blocks the blade with its new saw. Somehow, Scorpex's blade snapped off. Conner hits his hands together and says, "Oh yeah!" Kira points across her chest, "I love it!" The Megazord pushes its new saw at Scorpex. Scorpex blocks it, but his other blade ends up getting broken as well. Scorpex tells the Rangers he's really mad now. Ethan decides to light fuel on his rage and asks him if he wants more. The saw is pushed forward and nails Scorpex. Then, the Megazord fires a fireball at Scorpex and he gets hit some more. Conner calls for "Dimetro Blade". The Rangers call for full power. The Thundersaurus Megazord makes a plus sign (+) slash with its new saw. Scorpex falls forward and blows up. Dr. Oliver sees Scorpex blow up on his screen and celebrates by getting out of his chair and doing a little punching motion to celebrate. He then raises his hands in the air and does a "WHOOOO!"

We're at Mesgog's lair once again. Zeltrax and Elsa stand before Mesogog who is in his chair. Mesogog says another Dino Zord in the hands of the Power Rangers. He says he doesn't know which of them to punish first. Zeltrax says to punish him because he has failed him more. Elsa says it's true and says at least she made valuable progress in her plan to gain Dr. Oliver's trust. Mesogog says so she did. Elsa looks confident in that Mesogog recognizes it. Mesogog stands up from his chair and tells her that her work is not finished yet. Elsa just looks at Mesogog with a suspicious look. Mesogog walks up to her and tells her he wants her to stay close to him (Dr. Oliver). Elsa does a slight groan as Mesogog says he is their link to the other three. Elsa complains, "But I hate him, he's so, good." Mesogog does a "Hmmmm." Elsa says there must be another way. Mesogog gets in her face and does his breathing thing. He says he doesn't recall asking her opinion. Mesogog slowly backs off and Elsa says, "Of course master. I will do as you wish. I will stay close to him." Mesogog says good and waves his hand at Elsa to go. Mesogog says both of them go and Zeltrax looks disappointed as he turns around and walks off.

We're back at Reefside High School. Someone says, "Ok Cass, are you ready?" Someone pushes a lever up. It's Devin, and he says, "We're gonna roll, and in 5, 4, 3." He does the 2, 1, with his fingers. Cassidy is in a suit as she looks to be reporting. She's sitting, legs crossed, behind a green background. She has a pink head band. Cassidy says to the camera, "This is Cassidy Cornell with a special report. I have discovered that we have a superhero working right here at Reefside High." The Rangers are shocked with "huh's?" and Dr. Oliver was reading a booklet when he immeditately turns around. Dr. Oliver looks as if he knows Cassidy has found out. Devin is handling the production as we hear Cassidy Cornell say, "Yes, our very own Principal Randall fended off several prehistoric creatures in an act of selfless bravery." Dr. Oliver just stares at the class in what is probably shock but relief too. Devin is hearing an earphone in his ear. Cassidy says she was on the scene to bring them the "exclusive footage". Cassidy proudly says, "Let's roll tape." She looks at Devin. Devin pushes play. We hear somewhat laugh in Dr. Oliver's classroom. Dr. Oliver looks around at the TV as we see from earlier Cassidy walking away from Devin who was lying down, looking at the "flower". Devin says, "Wrong tape." We hear some moans and some laughter. Cassidy appears on the screen and tells the audience they "seem" to be experiencing technical difficulty. We see the three Rangers laugh. Dr. Oliver just looks on with a slight sigh of relief Cassidy looks at Devin who just sits there. Devin then does something and slams the play button several times.

We're somewhere else in the school, at a stairway. We hear someone yell, "Tie up those shoe laces." Principal Randall is walking down the stairs. Dr. Oliver calls her name and asks her if she's ok. The music gets tense and Principal Randall tells Dr. Oliver she's fine. Dr. Oliver tells Principal Randall she's pretty tough out there and says he guesses he didn't have to worry about her too much. He touches his glasses. Principal Randall asks, "You were worried...about me?" We see the three students who are hiding behind a wall. Conner has that blue soccer ball from the earlier episodes. Dr. Oliver says, "Of course." Principal Randall stares at Dr. Oliver and has a flashback to seeing Dr. Oliver run, dive, and grab her to where they stare at each other while she's lying on top of him. Principal Randall raises an eyebrow as a bell rings. Principal Randall appears to be serious while Dr. Oliver just stands there waiting for a response. He asks if she's ok and Principal Randall shakes out of her daydream. Principal Randall tells Dr. Oliver, "That's the bell Dr. Oliver, your next class isn't gonna teach itself is it?" Dr. Oliver stands there and replies, "Uh, yeah. I mean no." The Rangers step out from behind the wall and Ethan says, "Man, that woman is cold-blodded." The Rangers approach Dr. Oliver at the stairway even though class has begun. Conner says, "Yeah but remember Dr. O's gotta thing for dinosaurs." Dr. Oliver tells Conner to not even start with him. Kira says she thinks it's a perfect match . Dr. Oliver asks them, "Aren't you guys late for your next class?" Conner says, "Yeah, we we're kinda hopin that you could write us a note or something." The others agree. They walk out a door as Dr. Oliver says, "Dream on." They all laugh as they exit.
