Last episode, Dr. Tommy Oliver was not only rescued by his students, but he acquired the Black Dino Gem and became the Black Dino Ranger!

The Rangers must tend to a sensitive situation when the Donkeyvac monster turns a pop star into an old woman. Can the Rangers bring back this singer's old self? Check out "Diva in Distress" this weekend, on ABC FAMILY on Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 AM and on TOON DISNEY at 7:30 PM on Sunday night.

[SUMMARY]

(introduction)

We're at Hayley's Cyberspace. The crowd appears to be hot this afternoon, as someone is on-stage, singing. Trent is sitting at a table, writing something. The person who is singing is non-other than Kira, who appears to be singing a country-type song.We see someone filling up a coffee mug, then a fooseball table in action. While everyone is doing their little things at the cafe, Dr. Oliver, Ethan, and Conner appear to be enjoying Kira's singing. Someone puts down a cup of spoons, and someone is punching numbers into a register. Kira continues to sing, and sound effects from a video game can be heard.

We're at a lake house, where we see a duck in the lake. Dr. Mercer asks Trent (who is studying) if something is wrong in his room, not that he minds the company. Trent says he wanted to talk to him. Dr. Mercer asks, "About?" Trent says, "You really have to ask?" Dr. Mercer tells Trent, "Look Dr. Oliver's from a part of my past that I've chosen to put aside, a part that's quite painful for me." Trent says the guy is his teacher and asks if he's supposed to forget about him. He is cut off by his father, who tells him, "Well I have forgotten about him and I expect the same of you." Trent looks disappointed.

We're at the mall, as we hear that "Space Girls" song from Ninja Storm (the one Marah and Kapri supposively "sang" at the talent show). There's a big crowd as we see what looks like Kylie Styles approach the crowd on an escilator. She has three bodyguards with her as she yells out, "This is incredible!" Everyone wants an autograph but her bodyguards just push through the crowd. She tells the crowd, "You're the best!" She just waves off the people. Kylie and supposively her agent sit down at a table. Somehow, Kira and Conner emerge through the crowd without much trouble. Kylie asks, "How many of these leeches are there my hand is gonna fall off." Ethan and Kira are right at the table, as Conner whispers to Kira to ask her. Kylie is appearing to smile, as she asks Kira, "Who do you want it made out to?" Kira says, "Just to my old friend, Kira Ford." Kylie looks up, takes a moment, and then recognizes her. Kylie appears to be glad to see her, telling her she hasn't seen her for ages. She grabs her shoulders, and blows kisses to her cheeks, the only problem was that their faces weren't even close to touching. Kylie tells Kira she didn't know she was a fan of her's. Kira doesn't look so thrilled. A guy behind Kira holds up a camera, and another guy behind her has the same facial expression as she does. Kira says, "Actually, it's my friend who's a fan." Conner greets Kylie, saying, "It's Conner with an er." (yeah, thanks for telling us that in the 6TH episode, I don't know how many times I've spelled his name wrong so far). Kylie appears to have a big smile, and asks Conner, "Did Kira tell you that Kira and I used to sing together?" Conner says yeah and says he didn't believe her at first. Kylie says it wasn't anything professional just a silly teen act stuff, as she brushes her hair. Kira gives a straight face, and then says, "I thought we had some pretty good songs." Kylie repsonds, "Oh, yeah, sure, at the time, they were great." She pretends to smile. Kylie goes on, "But hey, at some point you gotta grow up." We hear Cassidy Cornell's voice, saying she has a voice pass as she sounds like she's trying to get through the crowd (boy, Cassidy sure has a hard time getting through crowds if Kira and Conner got through the same crowd with ease). Cassidy (who is wearing a press pass) has her microphone with her and Devin with his personal camcorder. Cassidy speaks into the microphone, "Cassidy Cornell, Reefside Reporter, anyway I'm hear to do a story on how you went from struggling nobody to POP superstar!" Kylie says, "ARE you kind! Well, no it all started. Oh, hold on. Kira I'm so sorry duty calls!" Kira is backtracked in the crowd. Kylie says they'll catch up later. Kira just squints her eyes. Kylie points to Kira and tells her she's awesome. Apparently, we don't finish the interview as we go to the next scene, as a Petra Zord flies across the screen.

Mesogog tells Elsa, "I have a project in mind." Elsa says she thinks it must be utterly gruesome. Mesogog tells Elsa, "Only if you think sucking the life out of a miserable human being is gruesome." They're over at the wall with all the potions and liquids. Mesogog hisses and grabs a jar.

At the mall, we see Kylie and her bodyguards go up the escalator. The crowd seems to have died down but they still make a little cheering noise. We see Kira and Conner at the bottom of the escalator, watching Kylie go up. Kira tells Conner, "Well, you got to meet the famous superstar." Conner says, "Look, if you're made cause I didn't believe you in Kylie, I'm sorry, but come on, she's so, and you're so..." Kira asks, "What? I'm what?" Kira says, "Forget it, maybe you're right. Maybe I don't know Kylie after all." Kira looks up, and then we hear a scream. Conner then looks up. Conner and Kira head for the escalator. Kira and Conner head for the "Level 3 Carpark". It appears Kylie is being attacked by a group of Tyranodrones. We then see a monster, whose name is Donkeyvac. Kylie is in front of her limo, and tells Donkeyvac, "You don't even know who I am." Donkeyvac says, "Of course I am. I'm a big fan!" Kylie flatly says, "Huh?" Conner tells Kira, "Come on!" Both head to help out. Conner comes in doing a very weak roundhouse. Conner blocks an attack and then elbows a Tyranodrone. He jump kicks one Tyranodrone and turns to his left to side kick another Tyranodrone. Conner turns over a Tyranodrone and kicks another. He kicks another one, and the Tyranodrone is shown falling to the floor. Conner then kicks another Tyranodrone. Kira is fighting to the side of a parked car. She ducks under one attack, blocks two consecutive attacks from two Tyranodrones, ducks under another attack, kicks a Tyranodrone away, brings her leg up for a drop kick, and then tries to swing at a Tyranodrone and then flips over but lands on her feet. She kicks a Tyranodrone while holding onto the Tyranodrone's arm, and then flips the Tyranodrone over as it hits a pole saying "Level 3". Kira tries to run but a Tyranodrone grabs her. She gets the Tyranodrone off of her, when we hear Kylie screaming again (the scream is more like a bird's chirp). A Tyranodrone appears to be approaching Kylie but Kira kicks the Tyranodrone away (what happened to Kylie's bodyguards? Did they get in the limo?). Kylie screams at Kira, "Kira what are you doing?" Kira tells her, "Ask later, run now!" Kylie runs (why didn't she get in her limo?) Kira ducks under an attack and elbows a Tyranodrone behind her. She kicks the Tyranodrone in front of her. Donkeyvac fires a beam from his hands at Kylie. Kylie appears to be losing something (no, not that...) as it appears something is being sucked out of her. Donkeyvac finishes as his hands glow red, and then he disappears with the green light. Kylie appears to have aged signifiantly (what is called, "The Billy effect"). Kylie looks around but is all silent. She gets a small mirror out, strokes her hair, and says to herself, "My face, oh my beautiful face! My face!!!" (my plastic surgery must have worn away fast).

We see Donkeyvac, as he's now out on the town, doing what he did to Kylie. One lady just stands there as her "youth" is sucked away from her. One girl doesn't notice Donkeyvac until it's too late, as Donkeyvac tells her, "Hope you like wrinkles." A couple turns around and the same happens to them, as Donkeyvac tells them, "How nice, you'll be growing old together!" The male looks like Bob Barker. They look at each other in disgust. We appear to be in Dr. Oliver's lab, as we see on the screen a girl sleeping. Donkeyvac goes up to her and tells her, "Here's your wakeup call!" He does the beam thing again. Ethan says, "A donkey that can extract the youth out of people? That is wrong in so many ways." Dr. Oliver says, "Mesogog's probably found a way to harness his youth retainer chain. We have to figure out a way to fight it. Where' s Kira?" We get another shot of Donkeyvac. Conner says Kira is taking Kylie to the Cyberspace. Conner says she thinks Kylie is having a meltdown of seeing herself old and shriveled up. Conner says he admits that it was kind of brutal. Dr. Oliver says, "We'll talk about respect for your elders later. Right now, there's something we need to take care of." Dr. Oliver, Ethan, and Conner morph. The three immediately confront Donkeyvac and they immediately brawl. The three stand apart from each other, surrounding Donkeyvac. Donkeyvac misses a swing real bad on Conner, and then focuses a kick on Ethan which is blocked. Donkeyvac knocks Ethan down. Dr. Oliver goes at it now. Donkeyvac's attacks are no use, but then kicks Dr. Oliver out of the picture. Ethan kicks his way back to the screen but the attack doesn't affect Donkeyvac. Dr. Oliver comes back, and ducks under an attack. Donkeyvac kicks Conner's leg and he flips up and onto the ground. Donkeyvac says, "Suckers!"

We're at Hayley's Cyberspace. Kylie is sitting in a chair, saying her career is over, and says this is the worst thing that has happened to anyone ever. Kira appears to be the only one listening to her. Kira tells Kylie, "Come on Kylie, I'm sure someone will find a way to reverse this." Kylie says she was supposed to go on, "You Request It" tonight. Kira says just because she looks a little older doesn't mean she still can't sing. Kylie says, "Right, go on national TV looking like this. I must look at least, 40." Kira has a slight bit of disgust (maybe she thinks she looks much older than 40). Kira's morpher sounds. Kira tells Kylie she has to go. Kylie shakes her head (well, it looks like she does). Kylie tells her, "No." Kira tells her Hayley will look after her and tells her she will be fine. Kylie tells her she wants her to stay and tells her she's her friend. Kylie tells her she can't leave her like this. Kira just looks on.

Dr. Oliver runs by the screen, appearing like he was going to attack the monster but missed by a lot. Conner gets an elbow to the stomach. Ethan tries to attack from the back but Donkeyvac moves out of the way, and then gives Ethan a good boot to the stomach. Conner misses a kick, and then gets rammed by Donkeyvac. Conner joins Ethan in lying on the ground. Ethan tells Conner, "We need Kira." Conner replies, "I called her, she's not answering."

We see Cassidy and Devin running through the park. Cassidy is dragging Devin along. Cassidy tells Devin, "Start shooting! This is front page material." Cassidy has her mic in hand, and Devin is just getting his camera out of his bag. He says, "Oh right right." They're at the fighting scene. Dr. Oliver's high kick forces Donkeyvac to duck. Ethan tries a sweep kick but Donkeyvac goes over to Dr. Oliver and kicks him, avoiding getting hit low. Conner flies into the picture and both grab each other by the shoulders. Cassidy and Devin arrive on the scene. Cassidy goes up to Conner and Donkeyvac, and they are exchanging punches. Cassidy reports, "Cassidy Cornell, Reefside Reporter, exactly when did you know you were evil? Did you feel a lot of love as a little, whatever it is you are?" Donkeyvac kicks Conner out of the picture and turns to Cassidy. Donkeyvac tells Cassidy, "Well Cassidy, being evil has come very natural to me. Hey, what am I doing, give me your youth growth!" Cassidy and Devin age a lot. Devin looks as if he doesn't know what's going on. The process is finished, and it appears Devin looks the same. Cassidy looks like the house cleaning Cinderella. Cassidy says she's tired enough of being a women in something (couldn't understand what she was saying) but now she has to fight ages. She holds up her microphone as she says it. Devin still looks the same, although he has a pretty big wrinkle on the right side of his face. It appears Devin didn't get it on tape. Conner is the only one fighting as Dr. Oliver and Ethan are on the back line. Conner gets punched a couple times. Dr. Oliver tells Conner, "Hold on Conner!" He runs over, but Zeltrax appears. Zeltrax points his sword at Dr. Oliver and tells him they still have a score to settle. Zeltrax asks Dr. Oliver if he's forgotten. Dr. Oliver tells Zeltrax, "I told you, you have no idea what you're talking about." Zeltrax fires a blast at Dr. Oliver which sends him falling to the ground. Conner rolls past Donkeyvac as he smacks Ethan. He does the same to Conner. Donkeyvac tells the Rangers, "Catch me if you can!" Ethan goes after Donkeyvac. Conner tags along, telling Ethan he's right behind him.

We see the old Devin and Cassidy. They walk down some stairs. Devin asks, "What are we doing here my hip is killing me." Cassidy says they are exercising their rights of mature members of the community. They walk up to a stand, and Cassidy says, "Two hot dogs please. Don't forget the senior citizen discount honey." The stand cashier (who was not turned old by Donkeyvac), appears to be playing along. Devin asks for extra ketchup on his hotdog. Cassidy gives a mean look to Devin.

Kylie asks, "What am I gonna do? I can't face my public looking like this." Kira tells her to calm down and says she's not the only one in trouble. Kira says the "thing" is attacking everyone all over the city. Kylie says, "Really? Well that is not my problem. I'm Kylie Styles." Kira gets something and hands it to Kylie. She tells her, "This is the Kylie I used to know. She was someone who cared about other people, not just herself." Kylie's morpher sounds again and she tells Kylie she has to go. Kira gets up and leaves. Kylie says nothing. She looks at the tape, and just says, "Can you play this for me?" Hayley looks on and gets the tape. She grabs it from her and says, "Sure." Hayley puts it in. Kylie appears to be brushing her hair. It sounds like a song Kylie and Kira did when they were in the same band. Hayley tells herself, "Now this, I like." Here's some of the song. Kylie is sincerely listening to it.

Donkeyvac is running. Conner says, "All right, we've got you caught." Donkeyvac tells them, "That's what you think." Donkeyvac fires some red things that hit Ethan and Conner, that send them to the ground. Donkeyvac tells them, "It's over Rangers." He strokes his feet on the ground like a bull, and then makes a donkey sound.

Conner says he's brutal. Ethan says, "You said it." We then hear the dino screech, as it is coming from Kira. The sound waves knock Donkeyvac back. Kira is on the scene. Donkeyvac says to himself, "What the?" Ethan and Conner meet up with Kira. Conner holds his head and says, "My ears!" Kira tells them sorry and says she should have given them heads up on the Ptera scream. Ethan asks, "You think?" Donkeyvac gets up and says, "That's it, more youth for me?" Kira says she doesn't think so, and morphs. Kira does the Abaranger poses, saying, "Ptera power, Yellow Ranger!" Kira gets out her Thundermax Sabre, as does Conner and Ethan, who all leap in the air and try to attack at once. Donkeyvac somehow grabs all three sabres by the blades. He forces the Rangers' arms to rise in the air and hits the Rangers' chest in a semi-circle stroke. Kira rolls nearby some tennis balls. Kira somehow has a tennis racket and asks, "Think you're up for a singles match?" We're on a tennis court now, as Donkeyvac approaches the net. Donkeyvac tells Kira she's no match for him. Kira says they'll see about that. Kira serves up two balls and smashes them, through the red balls that Donkeyvac fired. They land in Donkeyvac's nose. Donkeyvac complains about his nose and then sparks. He flies in the air, taking down a fence. Kira tells the guys to put them together. They put together the Z-Rex Blaster, and fire it at the weakened Donkeyvac. The Rangers celebrate. At Mesogog lab, Kira is shown with her arm in the air celebrating. Mesogog is not too pleased. Mesogog tells Kira to activate the Hydro-Regenerator. Elsa says, "At once, my lord." Elsa pulls the lever down, a big black cloud of rain pours, and Donkeyvac is 500 times bigger. Kira calls Dr. Oliver on her morpher, "This might be a good time for some heavy metal." Dr. Oliver says, "You got it, Brachio Zord, now!" (his voice seems altered which sounds like it is really in the helmet; it hadn't been that way so far this episode). The Brachio Zord comes walking slowly to the scene. The Brachio Zord releases three doors, and out come the Dino Zords. The Rangers board the zords, and form the Thundersaurus Megazord. Donkeyvac says, "Palmagrammets way!" Donkeyvac fires the red things at the Thundersaurus Megazord, and make it spark. Donkeyvac then fire the beam that makes people old at the megazord. The megazord isn't old, but gets pulled in face to face with Donkeyvac. Donkeyvac says, "Now I've got you!" He fires energy at the megazord, making it spark some more. In the cockpit, Conner says, "Let's sink our teeth into the fight." The Tyranno head on the chest bites Donkeyvac's nose. Donkeyvac says, "No, not the nose!" (not after he got tennis balls shoved up it).

Back to the Dr. Oliver/Zeltrax fight, Dr. Oliver leaps in the air and lays a stiff sword swing on Zeltrax while in the air. Zeltrax falls to the ground. Dr. Oliver tells Zeltrax, "Whatever your problem is, I don't have time for it right now." Zeltrax tells Dr. Oliver, "This isn't over." Zeltrax stumbles away.

Back to the zord fight, Kira calls out, "Ptera Rang!" The Thundersaurus Megazord flings the Ptera boomerang at Donkeyvac that hits him. Ethan calls out, "Dino Drill! Engage!" The arm with the drill starts turning and the Megazord floats in the air and charges right at Donkeyvac. The drill hits Donkeyvac and Donkeyvac blows up. The Thundersaurus Megazord stands a few hundred feet away from Donkeyvac to watch him fall forward and blow up. A special ball of light comes out of Donkeyvac as he blows up. An old man with a hat suddenly becomes a guy. A somewhat older lady looking at herself with a makeup mirror, suddenly becomes happy when she sees her oldself. The Thundersaurus Megazord is shown.

We go to Cyberspace Cafe, as we see Kylie touching a black and white picture of her oldself. The light hits her and she suddenly becomes her oldself again. She touches herself, looks in the mirror of a napkin dispenser, and says to herself, "I'm young!" She says to herself, "I'm beautiful, I'm me again", as she strokes her hair. Hayley says, "How great for all of us."

Cassidy and Devin are in a building. A lady in a wheelchair are behind them. They walk up to the counter, and Cassidy asks, "Two tickets please. And as you can see, we're seniors so don't try to rip us off by jacking up the price." The ticket guy punches in two tickets and we hear some sound effects. The ticket guy looks at the two and says, "Very funny." Cassidy and Devin are themselves again. The ticket guy says, "That'll be 20 dollars." Devin tells Cassidy to listen. Cassidy sticks a hand out at Devin and yells out, "Not now Devin." Devin tries to butt in by saying, "But seriously.." Cassidy yells out, "Hello he acts like he's never heard of the Great Depression. Well I for one am getting super depressed wondering why a sweet little old lady is being forced to pay full price for a lousy movie ticket." The ticket guy folds his arms, and Devin looks to be the only one of the two to notice that they're not old anymore. Cassidy looks over at Devin, and realizes their mistake. All the elderly chase Devin and Cassidy out of the movie theater. Cassidy and Devin run up some stairs, as there's lots of chatter from the old folks. Cassidy yells out, "Stop it, I'm warning you, I'm going, yeah yeah yeah." (News flash! Cassidy Cornell committs fraud!)

We're at Hayley's Cyberspae again, and we see the sketch Trent was making earlier. Kira says, "Hey, that's me! Where did you get that?" Hayley is holding the picture. Hayley asks, "Where do you think?" Kira is wearing a dancer's hat now. The sketch looks like one of those anime cartoons. Trent walks by, now sporting the cafe's employee polo t-shirt. Kira is holding her guitar, and asks Trent, "That's what you were drawing?" Trent slowly says, "Yeah...I'm gonna let Hayley put it up but you know insistent she can be." Kira says, "No, it's great, but how come you drew me as a superhero?" (the sketch is not of her as a Power Ranger by the way) Trent (holding a rag), says, "Cause you're brave, getting on stage, singing stuff from your heart, not conforming to some image, besides superheroes are all I know how to draw." Kira says thanks and says it's really sweet. Kira goes up to the stage. She says into the mic, "I wrote this next song with a friend of mine a long time ago, I hope you like it." It appears this time, more people are paying attention, as well as Dr. Oliver. Kira plays her guitar, and starts with an instrumental.
